Each card carries one steadying, research-backed idea, and the small square on its back opens that card's room: the idea in full, a practice for tonight, the sources, a candle, and 988 first. Kelly, our disclosed synthetic teacher, reads a card aloud in its room only when you press play. Nothing about you is kept.

Honest about what it is

• Companionship and grief literacy — not therapy. It says so on the box and in every room.
• Printed on demand when you order, never rushed, never stocked. Printed when you order, in the printer's standard queue — allow 3–8 weeks this season. We never rush a print.
• There is no packing slip — the parcel is unbranded — a box of cards arrives with nothing that says who sent it or why.
• Every card opens a free room; the rooms never expire; 988 comes first in every one.
• Kelly is a disclosed synthetic teacher. She reads the reviewed text word for word, only when you press play. The card text is human-written and never generated.
• Every attribution on the cards was checked against the paper it came from. The evidence page.
